Quick Catch-up

OK, it has been sooooo long since I have done a post. I am not even going to try and "catch-up". I will just give you a quick update then start with what is going on now in our lives.
On April 8th, Joel selected the T-38 track for his next phase of flight training.

So, we found out that we would be moving from sunny FL to Vance AFB in Enid, OK.  We were set to leave at the end of May, for a few weeks vacation before reporting in on June 7th.  So, we packed up and sadly said good bye to our friends and our amazing church that we have been at for the past 6 years.  It was hard leaving, but also exciting to be starting a new adventure.
So, we got out here at the beginning of June and moved into a house mid-June.  We have enjoyed having a nice fenced in back yard that the girls can play in.
So, Joel started Advanced flight training and is gone all the time.  He has long hours and then when he gets home he has more studying to do.  It has been tough, but we are making it and making the best of it.  He is scheduled to get his "WINGS" in January.  So, only a few more months and then we will know where we will be heading next.  It is exciting.  He is not sure what aircraft he wants to fly, but he has talked a lot about the C-17.  It is a pretty sweet aircraft, and has some really good bases that we could be stationed at.  So, we will just have to wait and see.

Lydia started Preschool last Monday, and she is loving it!  Here is a picture of her on her first day, waiting outside the classroom before school started.  Her sister Tessa is a goof and loves taking Lydia to school.

What goofy girls I have. :)  I will do another post about Lydia and Preschool this afternoon while the girls are napping.
So, that was our life for the last 6 months wrapped into a few short paragraphs.
